Income Worksheet, Tuned to Your Work
If a big closing changes your year, update your marketplace application — the subsidy adjusts from that point forward.
The 60-Day Deadline Calculator
Losing job-based coverage opens a Special Enrollment Period. Enter the coverage end date; get the day the window closes.
Losing qualifying coverage generally opens a 60-day Special Enrollment Period from the coverage end date. The window is firm — start before it is close.
Premium vs. Deductible Break-Even
Two quotes in front of you? See what the monthly difference buys in plain dollars before anyone talks you into either.
Arithmetic only — networks, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums matter just as much, which is what the call is for.
Rate → Year Converter
For 1099 work: turn an hourly rate into the gross-year figure the income worksheet starts from.
Gross, not MAGI — feed this into the income worksheet above and let the expense lines do their work. Self-employment tax questions belong to your tax preparer.

Straight Answers About These Tools
Are these tools really free?
Yes — no cost, no account, and no email wall. They exist so people in the 40 professions this site covers can do the homework before (or instead of) a call. If a number surprises you, the call is free too.
Do you store what I type into the calculators?
No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers never leave your device, are never sent to a server, and disappear when you close the page. That is also why nothing asks for your name.
Are the results official eligibility determinations?
No — they are arithmetic. The worksheet estimates the MAGI figure the marketplace asks about, and the deadline calculator adds sixty days to a date. Actual eligibility and subsidy amounts are determined by the marketplace when you apply, which is exactly what a licensed agent helps you get right.
Can I share or reuse the downloads?
Please do — every checklist and tracker says "free to share" in the footer and carries no watermark beyond the site address. Send them to the group chat, your bookkeeping client, or the crew.
What these tools are: arithmetic, deadlines, and organizers that make the marketplace conversation easier. What they are not: eligibility rulings, quotes, or advice — those need your real numbers and a licensed human, and that part is free too.
